Let’s face it! I still love my high heels. Yes, I know many readers will

Ouch!
Ouch!

cringe and disagree because heels do so much damage to our body. I mean, is fashion really worth it? But then, a small voice inside my head makes me want to buy every high heel I love. And a large portion of my heart wants me to wear heels all the time. Come to think of it, every time I have tumbled while walking were in a pair of flats. (STRANGE!) While I don’t advocate the use of heels on an everyday basis, I feel we need to have certain high heeled footwear in our closet. I mean, at least one of these. (Or maybe two?) Just to keep it in my shoe wardrobe. (Fingers crossed!) There are many different types of heels in the markets. But, I’ve listed my favorite.

Own them, but wear at your own risk.  ♥♥♥♥

Stilettos

Gorgeous and Stunning high heels

I know these are pointed to perfection and a strain on the back… but can you resist the beauty of stilettos? I find them perfect for special occasions. Apart from adding height to your frame (which people think I don’t need as I am tall), it also adds a spring in my step. I love the way they transform a woman when paired with fitted skirts.

Dance Footwear

Shall we dance?
Shall we dance?

I love to dance. At least I loved to until I got busy with other things in life. I learned Latin American dance styles and although I could not perfect it, it was fun to dress up and put on those gorgeous heels. They made me feel like a diva lost in a magical world of dance and music. I know these are a type of stiletto, but you can find smaller heels too. Every woman must own one pair that makes her wanna dance till she drops!

Medium to Small-sized Heels

Small and sweet!

These are perfect for a not-so-elaborate occasion. You can team them with Indian or western wear with ease. I find them comfortable for formal occasions. You can find a variety of kitten heels or spoon heels online.

Pumps

Head Turner!
Head Turner!

Can we deny the beauty of pumps? Slip it on with formal wear to make heads turn. Or, wear it with a nice pencil skirt. The options are many.

Boots

Boots
Cool yet comfy!

Winters are not as chilly in Bangalore as it is in other parts of the world. But can we resist high-heels in boots? I wore them for a fashion show once and simply loved the comfort and style.

And if I find any of these uncomfortable, I get back to my normal footwear – shoes!

Shoes
Sigh! Back to Flats!

So ladies…have you put your best foot forward yet?
